Amish end grain cutting boards

Our wooden cutting boards are made by Amish craftspeople in Northern Wisconsin. Choose from hickory, black walnut and mixed-wood patterns, with end grain construction across the collection. Start with the shape and size that fit your kitchen, then compare the details you use every day.

Compare board styles

  • Stockholm cutting boards: Rectangular boards with juice grooves, finger slots and rubber feet for everyday chopping and slicing.
  • Madison cutting boards: Round boards with juice grooves, finger slots and rubber feet.
  • Original cutting boards: Square and rectangular options in Geneva, Williamsburg and Woodford wood patterns. Rubber feet are included on sizes other than the 9-by-9-inch board.
  • Dubai cutting boards: A 12-by-16-inch rectangular surface with contrasting wood combinations in Brooklyn, Cleveland and Rochester designs.
  • Shorewood cutting boards: A 14-by-16-inch teardrop shape for prep and serving, with a finger hole for carrying or hanging.

Choose your wood and size

Hickory Nut combines the heartwood and sapwood of hickory. Starlight uses black walnut heartwood and sapwood, while mixed-wood designs combine several species. Compare the Stockholm Hickory Nut and Stockholm Starlight for two different wood choices in the same board style. Natural grain and color vary from board to board.

Measure your counter, storage space and sink before choosing a size. The Original collection ranges from 9 by 9 inches to 16 by 20 inches. Stockholm sizes range from 10 by 14 inches to 14 by 20 inches, and Madison offers 12-, 14- and 16-inch round boards. Size options vary by wood pattern; check the individual product for dimensions and availability.

Caring for your wooden cutting board

Hand-wash with warm, soapy water, towel-dry and allow the board to air-dry on edge. Avoid soaking or putting it in the dishwasher. Apply conditioner when the wood looks dry. Our cutting board care guide covers cleaning, oiling and storage, with beeswax wood conditioner available separately.
