Madison round end grain cutting boards
Madison brings a round cutting surface to everyday kitchen prep. Each Amish-made board is 1.25 inches thick, with solid wood end grain construction, a beeswax oil treatment, a juice groove, finger slots and rubber feet. Choose from three wood patterns, each offered in 12, 14 and 16 inch diameters.
Hickory, walnut or mixed woods
- Hickory Nut combines heartwood and sapwood from hickory.
- Starlight uses black walnut heartwood and sapwood. The brightness of the sapwood can vary between boards.
- For a mixed-wood pattern, Williamsburg combines maple, cherry, hickory and white oak with a walnut accent.
Choosing your diameter
The 12 inch board has the smallest footprint; the 14 and 16 inch options provide more cutting space. Measure the diameter against your counter, sink and storage area before choosing. The round surface narrows toward its edges, so consider where you like to place ingredients while you work. Check each product page for current size availability.
Cleaning and conditioning
Hand-wash with warm, soapy water, towel-dry and air-dry on edge. Avoid soaking or using the dishwasher, and condition the wood when it looks dry. See the cutting board care guide for details and beeswax and mineral oil conditioner for maintenance.
