Charcuterie Boards
Wooden charcuterie boards and serving trays
Arrange cheeses, cured meats, fruit and appetizers on a wooden board made by Amish craftspeople in Northern Wisconsin. This collection brings together engraved Wilton serving boards, Shorewood cutting and serving boards, and recessed Brookfield trays. Compare their shapes and dimensions to find room for your spread and a place to store the board afterward.
Choose a board for your table
- Wilton charcuterie boards measure 8 by 16 inches and are 5/8 inch thick. Choose black walnut with a grape engraving, sugar maple with a wheat design, or white oak with an acorn design. Each has a thumb hole for handling and hanging.
- The Shorewood collection offers a teardrop shape measuring 14 by 16 inches and 1.25 inches thick. Its end grain surface works for kitchen prep and serving, with a finger hole for carrying or hanging.
- Brookfield serving trays have a recessed rectangular surface and finger slots for lifting. Each is 3/4 inch thick, with 8 by 12, 10 by 15 and 12 by 18 inch size options. Check each product for current availability.
Compare the wood choices
For black walnut, compare the engraved Wilton board with the Shorewood Starlight, which combines walnut heartwood and sapwood. Shorewood also comes in Hickory Nut and the mixed-wood Williamsburg pattern.
Brookfield Maple Bluff pairs white maple with a walnut accent, while Prairie Lane pairs white oak with walnut. The Brookfield Red River uses black walnut with a red grandis accent. Natural grain and color vary between pieces.
Plan your spread and care
Measure your table space and leave room for plates, utensils and any bowls you want to include. Wilton provides a narrow serving surface; Shorewood offers more width, while Brookfield gives you a choice of tray sizes.
Care depends on the model: Shorewood and Wilton have beeswax oil treatments, while Brookfield has a water-resistant finish. For your Shorewood board, follow our cutting board care guide for washing, drying and oiling. Beeswax wood conditioner is available for unvarnished wooden kitchenware.
