Original Collection

Original end grain cutting boards

The Original collection offers five sizes, from a compact square to larger rectangular boards. Each is made by Amish craftspeople in Northern Wisconsin from solid wood, with 1.25-inch-thick end grain construction and a beeswax oil treatment.

Five sizes, one important difference

Choose 9 by 9, 10 by 12, 12 by 14, 14 by 16 or 16 by 20 inches. The 9 by 9 inch board does not have rubber feet; the larger sizes do. Measure your prep and storage space, and check the product page for available sizes.

Compare the accents

  • Geneva combines maple, cherry, hickory and white oak with a red grandis accent.
  • Williamsburg combines maple, cherry, hickory and white oak with a walnut accent.
  • Woodford combines maple, cherry, hickory and white oak with a walnut border.

Care after use

Hand-wash with warm, soapy water, towel-dry and air-dry on edge. Avoid soaking or using the dishwasher. Apply conditioner when the wood looks dry; our cutting board care guide explains cleaning, oiling and storage.
