Iron Wood Sugar Maple wooden trivet
The Iron Wood Sugar Maple trivet measures 7 by 7 inches. Made in Northern Wisconsin from a single board of wood, it has a beeswax oil treatment and a hanging hole for storage or display between uses.
Sugar maple ranges from pale sapwood to a mix of brown and white, sometimes called calico. Your trivet may be mostly light or show contrasting areas of color. Natural variation means each piece will differ from the photos.
Fit and storage
Compare the 7 by 7 inch footprint with the base of your serving dish before ordering. Place the trivet on a flat, stable surface with the dish fully supported, and follow your cookware and surface makers’ care guidance. Let it cool and dry before hanging it up.
Cleaning and conditioning
Wipe the cooled trivet with a soft, damp cloth, towel-dry and let it air-dry fully. Avoid soaking, dishwasher cleaning and abrasive pads. When the wood looks dry, apply conditioner according to its instructions. Beeswax and mineral oil conditioner is available separately.
