Beeswax oil for wooden cutting boards
Sterling Wood Beeswax Oil Wood Conditioner blends natural beeswax with a mineral oil base for unvarnished wooden kitchenware. Use it as part of the care routine for wooden cutting boards, butcher blocks and rolling pins whose care instructions recommend beeswax oil.
Choose your container size
Available in 4 ounce, 8 ounce, 16 ounce and 1 gallon sizes. Consider how many wooden pieces you maintain and how often they need conditioning. The smaller bottles suit a home kitchen's care supplies, while the gallon option provides more oil for maintaining several pieces.
How to condition your board
Start with clean, completely dry wood. Apply a small amount with a lint-free cloth, working over the surface and edges. Allow it to absorb, then wipe away excess. Follow the container label and your kitchenware's care instructions for application and timing. Our cutting board care guide covers cleaning, drying and regular oiling.
Check the finish before use. This conditioner is intended for unvarnished wood; do not assume it is suitable for a coated serving tray or turntable. If you are unsure which treatment your piece needs, contact us for care advice.
