The light wood shows the wheat engraving clearly. Natural grain and color vary between pieces, so each trivet will look slightly different from the photos.

This square trivet comes in one size: 7 by 7 inches and 1/4 inch thick. Compare that footprint with the base of your serving dish before ordering.

Compare all three wood and engraving combinations in the Wilton trivet collection, or pair it with the matching Sugar Maple charcuterie board.

Let the trivet cool before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth, towel-dry and allow it to air-dry fully before storing. Clean the engraving gently; avoid abrasive pads, soaking and dishwasher cleaning.

When the wood looks dry, apply conditioner according to its instructions. Beeswax and mineral oil conditioner is available separately. Store in a dry place, away from burners, open flames and other direct heat sources.

What size and design will I receive? This Sugar Maple model measures 7 by 7 inches, is 1/4 inch thick and has a laser-engraved wheat design. Natural wood grain and color vary.

Will it fit my serving dish? Compare the dish base with the trivet’s 7-inch square footprint. Use it on a flat, stable surface, with the dish fully supported. Follow the cookware and surface makers’ care guidance.

Is this a cutting board? It is sold as a trivet for holding dishes. Choose a separate board for food preparation, or browse our wooden kitchen essentials for other table and kitchen pieces.

Why End-grain?

Superior knife protection starts with end-grain construction. The exposed wood fiber ends compress slightly with each cut, allowing your blade to slip between them instead of severing the fibers. This means sharper knives, fewer knife marks, and a cutting board that lasts a lifetime.
