Iron Wood White Oak wooden trivet
The Iron Wood White Oak trivet measures 7 by 7 inches. Made in Northern Wisconsin from a single board of wood, it has a beeswax oil treatment and a hanging hole for storage or display between uses.
White oak has a grainy brown appearance, with some lighter sapwood on the edges and underside. The visible grain gives each trivet its own pattern. Color and grain vary, so use the photos as a guide rather than an exact match.
Fit and storage
Compare the 7 by 7 inch footprint with the base of your serving dish before ordering. Place the trivet on a flat, stable surface with the dish fully supported, and follow your cookware and surface makers’ care guidance. Let it cool and dry before hanging it up.
Cleaning and conditioning
Wipe the cooled trivet with a soft, damp cloth, towel-dry and let it air-dry fully. Avoid soaking, dishwasher cleaning and abrasive pads. When the wood looks dry, apply conditioner according to its instructions. Beeswax and mineral oil conditioner is available separately.
